The Highlands at Morristown Station is a prime example of the success in public/private partnerships which include NJ Transit, the Town of Morristown MPA, Woodmont Properties and Roseland Property Co. It was the first Transit Village residential project approved in New Jersey and will contain 219 luxury rental apartments. This new community will be developed on an existing NJ Transit parking lot only steps away from the Morristown Train Station, with its Manhattan Midtown-Direct service to Penn Station. The luxury community will include a four-story elevator building and a 740 car parking garage serving residents as well as NJT commuters. Additionally, 8,000 sq. ft. of retail space will be available.
